Festival, May 5th. Generally, you cannot buy koinobori at most of the shops
except in the last sales months, March and April, just before May 5th.

 KOINOBORI-JAPAN.JP is an online shopping site specializing in koinobori,
carp streamers and windsocks.
Our goal is to offer made-in-Japan products of interest to people who have
a desire to be closer to Japan's culture, history, customs and crafts.
For this goal, we have first founded ZEN-SHOP.NET in April, 2001, .dealing
in various categories of Japanese arts and crafts.
Through these 10 years' activities at ZEN-SHOP.NET, we have received not
only orders but also various requests and encouragement from people in
over 40 countries all over the world. Above all, Samurai warrior dolls
and Koinobori windsocks are the lines that are most frequently referred
to and needed. We have at last decided to make these two categories independently
from ZEN-SHOP.NET as SENGOKU-DO and KOINOBORI-JAPAN.JP. In this way, this
KOINOBORI-JAPAN.JP was founded in November, 2011, following SENGOKU-DO
founded in May, 2005,
Although our sites are only tiny parts of the large borderless world that
we all inhabit, we sincerely hope that our activities at the said three
sites can contribute to the preservation of, and generation of interest
in the many cultures, customs and crafts throughout the globe. |
